The Maremma\u2019s last town on the border with Lazio is self-contained. It\u2019s a favourite with foreign tourists, who come for the culture and the art and the amazing beaches that are just a few kilometres from the shore.<\/p>\n
Capalbio has its own sophistication and two very popular international film and art festivals that infuse it with an almost Cannes-like vibe, if only for a short amount of time.<\/p>\n
During the rest of the year, Capalbio lives for its walls. The town is almost entirely surrounded by its original walls.<\/p>\n
